Flats in South Manchester:

One of the most popular areas to rent in the south of Manchester is Didsbury. Only 5 miles out of the city centre, Didsbury village is situated on Wilmslow Road next to Fallowfield, the popular student area. There are a number of quality shops, restaurants and pubs in Didsbury and with it's handy transport links it is a favourite choice of young professionals. Also, in the south adjoining Didsbury is Chorlton-cum-Hardy, referred to locally as simply: Chorlton. A little further west of Chorlton is Trafford, Stretford and Salford Quays which can also provide modern living spaces with easy transport links to the city centre.

Living in the north of Manchester is less expensive than the centre or the south and you generally get more space for your money. The more popular areas are those situated near the northbound M60 ring road such Prestwich and Whitefield.
